Tabs, sections, and blocks

Tabs

A tab can be thought of like a page in a report. When creating a Scorecard, PPE Report, or Facility Report, the content is organized onto tabs.

In Customizer Mode, you can add, delete, move, or rename your tabs.

• Add: If you have fewer that seven tabs, the farthest right tab reads +Add Tab; click this to add a new tab.
• Delete: Click the trash can icon to the right of the tab name to delete the tab and all of its contents. Your scorecard or report must always have at least one tab and you cannot modify delete, move, or rename the Static Sections Tab in PPE Reporting or Facility Reporting.
• Move: Click and hold the arrows to the left of the tab name to drag it to a new position.
• Rename: Click the pencil icon to the right of the tab name to customize the tab name, then click Apply.

Sections

A section is one piece of a report. Each section is built with unique functions to display data in a certain way, so you can add different sections to your tabs to incorporate different display types for a well-rounded report. Add a section

To add a new section to your Scorecard or Report, click Add Section in the upper right corner of your screen while in Customizer Mode. The section you select adds to the bottom of the tab you are currently viewing.

Customizing sections

In Customizer Mode, you can delete, move, or rename a section you have added to your Scorecard or Report.

• Delete: Click the trash can icon to the right of the section name to delete the tab and all of its contents.
• Move: Click and hold the arrows to the left of the section name to drag it up or down to a new position.
• Rename: Click the pencil icon to the right of the section name to customize the tab name.

Blocks

A few sections, like the Two Column section in Scorecards, require you to add a block to that section for each measure and select the graphic type. Click Add Block to the right of the section header to select your graphic type(s) and measure(s).

Blocks are also used in the following PPE Reporting sections: Measure Analysis, Two Column Section, and Simple Report.
